WDAY, premiere broadcaster for Fargo and the surrounding area, via an ad in the 1954-1955 city directory. Note the fun, exciting font in the logo, and their location on the top floor of the Black Building in downtown Fargo. At that time, the Black Building was one of the tallest buildings (safe a grain elevator here and there) for many miles around.
