It wasn't until 1936 until the US had 200 TV sets[1], so Coyne was preparing for the day when the US might have, dare I say it, 500 televisions?!? "Madness," said the King of Prussia, "There will never be a need for more than 200 televisions in the world. How could there be enough things to watch?" For those of you with a television today, in the next few hours the King of Prussia will be featured as a question on Gameshow Network's overnight call-in gameshow, will be brought to the present in a rerun of the 1990s Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure cartoon on Boomerang, will be cited for comparison as an example of outdated government by a political pundit on Fox News, and a painting of the King will be appraised for $150,000 on a rerun of Antiques Roadshow.
