That girl in the front row in white &#8212; right in the middle &#8212; has her eyes blacked-out with pencil (you can see it in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infomercantile.com\/images\/1\/1b\/School-photo-1.jpg\">the large version<\/a>).  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infomercantile.com\/-\/Image:School-photo-1-reverse.jpg\">On the back<\/a> were, presumably, well-wishes from student&#8217;s friends, names written in the hand of the signer.   <a href=\"http:\/\/www.infomercantile.com\/-\/Image:School-photo-1-underneath.jpg\">Underneath the photo<\/a>, written on the page in the photo album, are a clearer picture of the students identities: &#8220;Bruno&#8221;, &#8220;Giggling Gertie&#8221;, &#8220;Ossie&#8221; &#8212; and I <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">think<\/span> that&#8217;s just the girls.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blogger-post-footer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/blogger.googleusercontent.com\/tracker\/1164514753160272371-5345215447694024880?l=www.infomercantile.com\/blog\" alt=\"\" \/><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>High school &#8212; a time of nicknames and rivalries no matter when you were born.
