This is my personal blog, at the URL http://www.blacksunn.net/11111001111/]. '11111001111' is binary for '1999', the year I started blogging, which places me on the early end of blogging, but not a fore-runner. My blog actually pre-dates the [[Derek%27s_Big_Website_of_Wal-Mart_Receipts|Receipt Site]] by a few months. The blog was originally published using a Perl CGI online journal program, which I re-purposed and altered to create the first version of the [[Derek%27s_Big_Website_of_Wal-Mart_Receipts|Receipt Site's]] software. When I wrote a dynamic CGI program to better organize and load the blog's content, those original flat-file text files created by the journalling software were left behind -- which is why there are no posts going back to 1999 on the existing blog. I've been tempted to remedy this by moving the content over to the new format, but it hasn't seemed that necessary. Those original posts were more like essays than blog posts, and the more interesting of them have been moved to the [[:Category:Essays|Essays]] category on the Infomercantile.
