&lt;br /&gt;
Fargo, N.D., Sept 19 - (AP) - William McGuigan, 83, pioneer Leonard citizen and leading resident of that community a half century, died Monday in a Fargo hospital.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A native of Ireland, he came to Cass county in 1883.  He was secretary of the Cass County School Officers association 34 years, township supervisor and assessor and secretary-treasurer of the Farmers Elevator company, Woods, N. D., for many years.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He leaves four children, James E., Mrs. P.J. Frey and Mrs. John Scilley of Leonard, and Melvin M., of Fargo, and three brothers, James of Fargo, Thomas of Tacoma and Hugh of Chicago.  Funeral services have not been set.&lt;br /&gt;
