These slides were created by Finley's Color Laboratory as a memento for LA tourists; I suppose in the 50s or 60s rural hayseeds might have considered the freeways akin to the Great Wall of China or the Pyramids, but since then I think people would rather see less of the freeway's expanses of concrete and asphalt.
