A postcard from World War I, depicting soldiers on horseback crossing a bridge. The poem reads,
When the road seems long and drear, While you're marching to the fray, Let this keep you in good cheer: Love is with you all the way.
The reverse is unused. It says, Army Series No. 3 and Made in U.S.A. but no printer's mark, and the stamp box has no design.
