Michael Blow was educated at Yale where he graduated in 1952 with a B.A. in English. He served for two years in the Air Force, mainly in Korea and Japan. On his return he joined the editorial staff of Collier's Magazine. From there he went to Newsweek Magazine as a science writer and helped to start that magazine's new department, Space and the Atom. Mr. Blow is a member of the National Association of Science Writers. He is at present an editor at American Heritage and is author of a forthcoming American Heritage Junior Library book, Men of American Science and Invention. He is married, has one son, and makes his home in New York City.[1]
