J Scott Koltes

J Scott Koltes was the president of Lincoln Mutual Life & Casualty Insurance Companyin Fargo, ND, until his retirement in 2002. He passed away April 27, 2006, at the age of 64.

Scott was born and raised in Mitchell, SD. After college in Milwaukee and Indiana, he began work as a Lincoln Mutual insurance agent in Mitchell. In 1969, Scott moved to Fargo, joining the Lincoln Mutual home office as an underwriter, eventually moving up in ranks to president in 1979. Scott retired from Lincoln in 2002.
